Demetri Martin renewed for a second season, filming with Brad Pitt

Demitri Martin’s Comedy Central show “Important Things with Demetri Martin,” has been renewed for a second season!

Martin is the creator, executive producer, star, writer and composer of “Important Things,” which includes sketches, stand-up comedy, animation, and studio bits. Such “things” include power, chairs, and safety.

The first season of “Important Things” wrapped in late March and averaged 2.3 million total viewers each week, and was the tops series in cable and network TV among men 18-34.

In addition to filming the show, Martin is starring in Steven Soderbergh’s “Moneyball,” opposite Brad Pitt.
